Jamie Carr
Director of Nursing
Jamie Carr is the Director of Nursing at Arkview Recovery Center. She oversees and supervises Arkview’s amazing team of nurses, making sure that patients receive the best possible care, withdrawal management and medical stabilization. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Jamie started her career on a medical/surgical floor in York, Pennsylvania. After working in the hospital setting for a couple of years, she went to work in a psychiatric hospital in Harrisburg, PA. While working in both hospital settings Jamie treated people with addiction issues. Jamie started a PRN position in an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) in Harrisburg, PA. Working in the OTP gave Jamie the opening that she needed to become more involved with the addiction aspect of nursing. Most recently, she was the Director of Nursing at a stand-alone detox facility in Abbottstown, PA.
Zach Whipperman
Director of Community Outreach
Zach Whipperman is the Director of Community Outreach at Arkview Recovery Center. Zach Whipperman has a passion for helping those suffering from the disease of addiction. As a person in long term recovery himself, he knows first-hand the struggles that come with addiction, but also how rewarding recovery can be. Zach uses both his personal experience and skills gained from his professional experience working in the addiction treatment field to help others. Zach resides with his family in south central Pennsylvania and believes there is nothing better than being able to give back directly to the community in which he lives.
Jon Seal
Director of Admissions
Jon Seal is the Director of Admissions at Arkview Recovery Center, bringing years of experience in the substance use treatment field. Having personally battled substance use in his early 20s, Jon has a deep understanding of the struggles and challenges faced by individuals seeking recovery. He has worked extensively in housing, outpatient, and extended care programs, and is passionate about helping others receive the quality care they deserve. Jon’s dedication to the substance use treatment field is rooted in his desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. He believes that with the right support and resources, anyone can achieve lasting recovery. As Director of Admissions, Jon works tirelessly to ensure that individuals seeking treatment receive the care and attention they need to begin their journey to recovery. When he’s not at work, Jon enjoys spending time with his family in their home in south central Pennsylvania. He believes in the importance of giving back to his community and is committed to making a difference in the lives of those around him.
Kyle Ranney, LCSW
Director of Outpatient
Kyle is the Director of Outpatient at Arkview Recovery Center. He holds a Master of Social Work degree from Temple University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has years of experience working directly with individuals who suffer from addiction and mental health disorders. Being in long term recovery himself, Kyle is very passionate about the recovery process. He is heavily involved in the local recovery community in which he enjoys his commitments to service and giving back. His specialty is in group therapy and developing clinical staff. Kyle brings to Arkview a holistic approach to recovery, specializing in mindfulness, reality therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
Theresa Polheber, MS
Therapist
Theresa Polheber is a therapist with years of experience in residential treatment for co-occurring diagnoses. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Penn State University, and a Master of Science degree in Psychology from Mount Aloysius College. Theresa specializes in bringing in the family eco-system into her therapy. She also has a background in music education, and utilizes her knowledge to help clients benefit from the power of music. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, Theresa regularly develops group ideas based on tapping into the creative potential of clients. Theresa enjoys spending time with her four daughters and five grandchildren.
